01. Scanning light source

The light emitted by the CCD barcode scanner is a very thick line (thick in the middle and thin at both ends). The farther the scanner is from the barcode to be scanned, the thicker the red light is, and the lower the scanning success rate is.

The laser scanner is a very thin and uniform laser line. The reading ability of the laser barcode scanner is much stronger than that of the red light barcode scanner. The laser laser barcode scanner can scan far away from the barcode.

02.Scanning distance

The CCD barcode scanner generally has to be very close to the barcode to scan it, and the farthest will not exceed 20 cm.

The scanning distance of the laser scanner can reach more than 30 cm, and the laser scanner with good performance can reach 50 cm.

03. Scanning accuracy

The scanning accuracy of the CCD  barcode scanner is relatively low.
